Curcuma longa is a high-potency standardised extract of curcuminoid complex from the Indian spice tumeric (Curcuma longa linn).Research supports the wide ranging properties of the curcuminoids - and curcumin in particular. Curcumin has also been long used as a key botanical extract in Ayurveda, the traditional healthcare system of Ancient India.
