AQUABALM Gel
AQUABALM is a new natural skin care product from Iceland, with a revolutionary moisturising technology, derived from natural marine enzymes from the Arctic Ocean.
AQUABALM can be used for many conditions as well as cosmetic and beauty treatments.
Its unique characteristic is the enzyme trypsin's natural ability to cleave concentrations of pathological proteins from the surface cell membrane permitting leukocyte activity to remove damaged cells.
It stimulates the natural removal of virus-infected cells, bacteria, fungi, various pathogens and assisting immune system defences, thus bringing renewed health and beauty to the skin.
Apply onto spots and blemishes– bites & stings also respond well.
Rub into muscles– relieves tiredness, soreness, swelling and muscle spasms.
Massage into joints– helps to provide anti-inflamatory action..
AQUABALM is presented as a cosmetic or cosmeceutical product, meaning it has enhanced cosmetic properties. 1. What is AQUABALM?
AQUABALM revitalises, soothes and protects the skin by speeding up the body’s own regenerative process. Its unique characteristic rests on its active enzyme ability to split concentrations of pathological proteins, permitting white corpuscles to remove damaged cells, and encouraging the regeneration of healthy cells.

2. How does AQUABALM work?
On areas prone to patches of extreme dryness such as eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis AQUABALM is suitable and is safe for all types of skin. AQUABALM penetrates deeply under the skin where it can also relieve swelling, as well as muscle and joint aches and pains.
In pilot tests, Penzyme has shown promise in various dermatological conditions (eczema, psoriasis etc.) as well as arthritic inflammatory discomfort, acne and wound healing, amongst others. Penzyme has now been used in two clinical studies on humans, one on UV radiation and the other on the wound-healing of pressure sores, both with encouraging results. Other controlled studies are being planned.
3. Is AQUABALM natural?
AQUABALM is 100% natural and free from chemical additives, suitable for even the most sensitive skin. It is PH neutral and preserves the balance of the skin. The active ingredient in AQUABALM is a trypsin proteinase enzyme derived from North Atlantic codfish, (Gadus morhua) trade named Penzyme™. It is a byproduct of the Icelandic fishing industry and refined in a microfiltration, affinity chromatography process until a pure and humanly safe trypsin protease is produced.
