Bional St Johns Wort with Passion Flower
St.John’s Wort with Passionflower has very few undesirable effects; however interaction with other medicines does occur. To prevent unexpected reactions in a depressive state, no other medicinal products that are prescribed for depression, should be taken when using St.John’s Wort with Passionflower.
There is a possibility that St. John’s Wort might break down medicinal products more rapidly. This occurence has been shown with ciclosporin, digoxin, acenocoumarol, warfarin, AIDS- inhibitors and theophylline. With simultaneous use of St. John’s Wort and certain types of contraceptive pills (combinations of ethinylestradiol and desogestrel, also called sub-50) menstrual spotting have been ascertained in an incidental case. If unexpected loss of blood during the cycle occurs, this could mean reduced protection against pregnancy.
Take 1 tablet two times a day with water. In a case of a sensitive stomach it is recommended to take a capsule whilst eating. A positive result can only be expected following 3 weeks continuous use.
