Calista is a no-fuss test that enables you to tell quickly and easily when your most fertile days are. All you need to do is take a sample of saliva from your tongue and place it on the optical block of your tester, let it dry for 5 minutes and then focus the image through the lens. The resulting pattern indicates whether you are in a fertile period or not
Indications
Conception is not always as straightforward as one expects. It is important to be aware that there is a period of four or five days during your cycle when you are more likely to get pregnant. Usually this is 14 days after the beginning of menstruation in a 28 day cycle although this general rule does not apply to all women.
Saliva is a recognised measure of the hormonal activity that takes place during ovulation. The surge in hormonal activity at this time has a crystallising effect on the saliva which gives it a fern like appearance.
