Product Description

Darvida Amazonian Acai Berry 60 caps

Darvida is the first Amazonian Açaí Berry Supplement available on the high street.

Açaí  (ah-sigh-ee) is a Brazilian Super Berry grown in the Amazon rainforest.  It has more antioxidants than blueberries, healthy omega fatty acids and many vitamins and minerals.  Açai is being heralded as the most nutritious fruit in the world.  It is a small dark purple berry, with a taste combination like blueberry & chocolate

Anti-ageing guru Dr Nicolas Perricone* declared Açaí the number-one super fruit in the world (Oprah Winfrey 2005).   Açai contains essential minerals - iron, potassium, phosphorus and calcium, natural Vitamin B1 (Thiamin), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin C & E, 50% more antioxidants A & C than pomegranates and 5 times more than blueberries.
It also contains the most highly concentrated forms of anthocyanins (a type of antioxidant) known thus far - up to 30 times more anthocyanins than red wine.

Açaí also has the protein content of an egg and contains healthy fatty acids Omegas 6 and 9 and phytosterols which aid the cardiovascular system by reducing cholesterol levels and blood pressure. The high fibre content also helps to improve the digestive system.

The Açaí in Darvida capsules contains a combination of essential amino acids which the human body requires but cannot produce. These help us to build the proteins we need for growth, repair and maintenance of muscles, tendons, skin, ligaments, organs, glands, nails, and hair.

Açaí is low in calories and cholesterol free. It is also low in sugar but provides slow-release energy and sustains the body for longer.
