Product Description

Nicobrevin 48 caps

Nicobrevin 28 Day Capsule Course is a GSL licensed product formulated to help relieve the withdrawal symptoms of giving up smoking. It contains quinine, menthyl valerate, camphor and oil of eucalyptus which combine to produce the pharmacological action of Nicobrevin as a smoking cessation aid.

Quinine is an appetite suppressant and can also help reduce the cravings for cigarettes. Camphor helps to alleviate the undesirable effects of smoking on the respiratory system. Menthyl valerate is a mild sedative and helps to relieve the irritability experienced by a person giving up smoking. Oil of eucalyptus helps relieve the accumulation of mucus experienced during withdrawal.

Nicobrevin Capsules are designed to provide the greatest support in the first week when the withdrawal symptoms and craving for cigarettes are at their strongest. The dosage then reduces as the course progresses and the withdrawal symptoms and craving for cigarettes wear off. The Nicobrevin pack contains an informative in-pack leaflet and a useful dosage card to help the individual monitor their progress.

Ingredients

Menthyl Valerate 100mg, Quinine Anhydrous 15mg, Camphor Ph. Eur. 10mg, Oil of Eucalyptus Ph. Eur. 10mg, Oleic Acid, Arachis Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin and Preservatives (E215, E217).

Any contra-indications or side effects?

Most people taking Nicobrevin find that it causes no side-effects. Occasionally, some minor ailments, such as feeling unwell, nausea, headache and dizziness may be experienced but these effects are more likely to be symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. A few cases of allergic skin rashes have been reported. If you experience any problems, stop taking the course and if the symptoms persist consult your pharmacist or doctor.
