SelenoPrecise is a high selenium yeast, containing 200 micrograms of selenium in the organic form. It is the original selenium formulation, the same formulation that was used in the Clark study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association: 276:1957-1963 (1996). The exact biochemical mechanism that may give SelenoPrecise its anti-carcinogenic properties is not yet fully understood.
