Potters Catarrh Mixture 150ml

A herbal remedy traditionally used for the symptomatic relief of nasal catarrh and catarrh of the throat.

Recommended Dosage

Adults all ages - take by mouth, one 5ml spoonful three times a day.
Children over 7 - one 5ml spoonful morning and evening.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per 5ml:
Liquid Extract Boneset (1:1, 21% alcohol) 0.6ml, Liquid Extract Blue Flag (1:1, 37% alcohol) 0.05ml, Liquid Extract Burdock Root (1:1, 21% alcohol) 0.25ml, Liquid Extract Hyssop (1:1, 21% alcohol) 0.35ml.
Other ingredients: Chloroform spirit, methyl hydroxybenzoate, tincture capsicum, caramel, glycerin, water.

Cautions

Ask your doctor before taking this product if you have reacted badly to any of the ingredients.
Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not give this product to children under 7 years.
Hydroxybenzoate preservatives are known to cause itch, generally delayed type reactions, such as contact dermatitis in a few cases. Rarely thee is immediate reaction with itch and chest tightness. Glycerin - harmful in high doses, when it can cause headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea.

WARNING: This product contains 10.9% etanol. Each dose contains up to 0.416g of alcohol. Harmful for those suffering from liver disease, pregnant women and children. May modify or increase the effect of other medicines.
