ProstaQuick PSA Prostate Self Check

ProstaQUICK is a rapid test that can check with the help of men, the health of their prostate (prostate gland) specifically and reliably. The test principle is based on the fact that ProstaQUICK determined the concentration of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in the organism of the person concerned - the PSA value . 

An elevated PSA level is an indication that something is wrong with the prostate and needs to be clarified. Elevated levels are found in BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia), prostate inflammation (prostatitis), the prostate  ( prostate cancer ), or after a biopsy of the prostate massage and after a partial prostate removal. 

Elevated levels are detected in the blood, should be found with the help of further diagnostic measures, which underlies disease.

The test principle

A PSA level below 4 ng / ml is generally considered not in need of clarification. Between 4 ng / ml and 10 ng / ml can be classified as the value of control needs, from 10 ng / ml significantly increased as he is already.
