Collagen is the main structural protein in the connective tissue of the body. Collagen in cartilage consists mainly of collagen type-II.
Collasense promotes the immune system, as a result of which the cartilage in the joints is supported in a natural manner. The collagen in joint cartilage exists for 85-90% out of collagen type II.
The patented production process ensures that the specific spatial structure of collagen type II remains intact, which is essential for bioavailability.
Undenatured type II collagen exists from a triple helix-structure of three mutually linked (cross-linked) collagen fibers. At oral ingestion, specific components of the intact helical structure are recognized by the immune system in the bowel partition. This stimulates the immune system and supports collagen in the articular cartilage.
Collasense is extracted from the breastbone (sternum) of chickens. The safety was confirmed and shown in studies in humans and animals.
