Viteyes Plus Lutein Beta-Carotene Free is for people who need/wish to avoid a high dose of beta-carotene. In high doses, beta-carotene has been shown to increase the risk of lung cancer in smokers. It draws on research from the National Eye Institute in the US and contains high doses of vitamins and minerals combined with 6mg of lutein.

Viteyes Plus Lutein Beta-Carotene Free contains FloraGLO lutein which is a carotenoid not found naturally in the body, but synthesised from our diet and utilised by the body, especially the eye.

No other supplements containing the same vitamins should be taken in conjunction with Viteyes products.

During the ten year study conducted by the NEI and in subsequent follow-ups there has been no statistically significant increase in any serious adverse condition. However, the following have been noted:
