Absolute Aromas and every oil in the organic range have been certified by the Soil Association. Each oil can be traced back to the farm where the plant was grown, through each stage of production and finally to the beautiful finished product. The organic range has been sourced from many reputable farms around the world. Absolute Aromas have visited many of the farms themselves, in order to ensure that the high levels of quality and purity that have made Absolute Aromas stand out in the marketplace, remain at the forefront of their company ethos. This organic oil is distilled from the sawdust or stumps of trees which grow abundantly in the Atlas mountains of Morocco. This oil should be used in moderation, never be used during pregnancy and it may cause skin irritation in those with sensitive skin. Atlas Cedar is closely related to the biblical Cedar Lebanon, its therapeutic properties have even been recognised by ancient civilisations as far back as the Egyptians. One of the more masculine of essential oils, Cedarwood is popularly used in toiletries for men. For a light, aftershave facial oil add 1 drop of Cedarwood, 2 drops of Patchouli and 2 drops of Bergamot to 15ml of Jojoba oil. Cedarwood’s anti-septic, deodorising and insect-repellent properties make it a very useful oil for burning or diffusing. Try blending with any of the citrus oils.
