Healtharena Inulin Powder
10% FOS Fructo-Oligosaccharide (FOS)
Inulin is a prebiotic fibre that exerts health effects by improving gut bacteria. Improving gut bacteria may have benefits for weight loss. There is preliminary research on inulin, with the most important study showing that inulin supplementation (16g daily/ 3-months) improves some metabolic markers (such as gut derived-endotoxin and blood glucose), but did not result in weight loss. We suggest the best option for supporting weight loss is dietary change and exercise, and adding a probiotic to such changes might be beneficial. Healtharena Inulin is the most effective type of Inulin available. It consists of 90% Native Chicory Inulin and 10% FOS. This balance gives the most optimum benefit to digestion. The FOS works on the right side of the colon, helping the healthy bacteria to multiply. Then the Native Chicory Inulin reaches the left side of the colon, as it has a longer chain length.
