Superfruit’s Turmeric Powder (Curcuma Longa) is analyzed and contains at least 3% curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. Turmeric of the species Curcuma Longa has the highest natural content of curcumin, around 3-4%. Turmeric grows wild in the forests of South and Southeast Asia and has been used in Ayurveda for over thousands of years. Turmeris is one of the key ingredients in Asian cuisine and can also be used in smoothies, ice cream, chia pudding and yogurt.
