V-Digest supplies high strength betaine HCl while also being suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is
combined with B vitamins including folate and vitamins B6 & B12 as B vitamins can be lacking in vegetarian
and vegan diets.
Ingredients:
Each capsule typically contains:
Betaine HCl 500 mg
Folate (5-methyl tetrahydrofolate) 450 µg
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) 250 µg
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) 5 mg
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 25 mg
Encapsulated with:
Cellulose
Vegetable Stearate
Silicon Dioxide
Features:
Hydrochloric acid (HCl) denatures dietary proteins and facilitates the digestive action of enzymes.
HCl also stimulates the pancreas to secrete more digestive enzymes when released in to the duodenum from the stomach.
HCl aids in the absorption and assimilation of vitamins and HCl is needed for the normal absorption of folate and vitamin B12.
Provides the activated, ‘body-ready’ forms of vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and folate (5-methyl tetrahydrofolate).
Recommendation: 1 capsule twice daily with food, or as directed. Dosage should be split.
Caution: Do not use if there is a prior history of or a current peptic or duodenal ulcer. If discomfort in the stomach occurs after administration, discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner. Store in a cool dark place. Do not chew or split the capsule. Capsule must be swallowed whole. If pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any kind of medication or have a medical condition, consult a healthcare practitioner before using this product.
